DraftKings sees Pyfer as the favorite with a salary of $9,300. He averages 100.9 fantasy points per contest throughout two UFC bouts.

1 year agoRising middleweight contender Joe Pyfer faced UFC veteran Jack Hermansson in the main event of UFC Vegas 86 this past weekend. Pyfer did have success in the opening round, but as the fight went on, Hermansson managed to turn the fight in his favor, beating Pyfer via unanimous decision. In 25 minutes of action, Pyfer landed 92 significant strikes. This is Pyfer's first loss in the UFC. With the loss, Pyfer's professional record is 12-3.

Pyfer looked nearly flawless as he outperformed Alhassan on the feet and the ground. In 7:05 of action, Pyfer landed three takedowns and 26 significant strikes. The win moves Pyfer to 3-0 in the UFC as he continues an impressive run after joining the promotion by way of Dana White's Contender Series.

In 3:55 of total action, Pyfer tallied 14 significant strikes compared to Amedovski's 11 total strikes. Now with 10 career wins, seven of them have come via knockout/TKO. Depending on how the UFC decides to match him up next, Pyfer could be worth rostering in his next handful of contests.
