Joe Mixon Bounces Back With 100-Yard Day
1 month agoHouston Texans running back Joe Mixon bounced back from a season-worst day last week by going for 101 yards on 20 carries and also catching four passes for 18 yards in a 23-20 victory against Jacksonville on Sunday. The veteran back was efficient on the ground after a slow start, and continued being a major asset as a runner who catches passes and gets red zone work. His six targets were second on the team, and his seven-yard touchdown marked the seventh time in eight weeks that he found the end zone. Mixon should continue being a fantasy lineup staple after the Texans take their bye in Week 14.
