6 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer is set to be reinstated to the starting lineup on Friday. It's a move many expected after the demotions of Miguel Sano and Jake Cave, and a much-needed one for the Twins. Their offense has left much to be desired the past few days, so Mauer's bat and his veteran leadership will be welcomed. He'd been on the shelf suffering from concussion-like symptoms. Before he went down though, he was batting a strong .283 along with a .404 on-base percentage. That said, daily fantasy players should probably proceed with caution today, as Mauer's first day back will be against the Cleveland Indians ace, Corey Kluber.--Mauricio Castillo
