1 year agoChicago White Sox reliever Joe Kelly (elbow) is likely to return during the club's upcoming weekend series against the Minnesota Twins, according to manager Pedro Grifol. The right-hander hasn't pitched in the big leagues since July 4 after suffering right elbow inflammation. Before the ailment, Kelly pitched to a 4.82 ERA and 1.25 WHIP but recorded 37 strikeouts to just 10 walks over 28 innings. The 35-year-old veteran doesn't hold much value in standard leagues, but fantasy managers in hold formats can roster him, considering his 10 holds on the year.--Spencer Seguin
