2 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Joe Kelly (groin) was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday with a right groin strain. The move was made retroactive to April 9. Kelly has made three appearances this season, going 0-1 with a bloated 10.13 ERA. Pitcher Keynan Middleton's contract was selected from Triple-A Charlotte and right-hander Jonathan Stiever was outrighted to Charlotte in corresponding moves. It looks like Reynaldo Lopez is the team's first choice for save opportunities for now, so Middleton's fantasy value will be limited.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
