2 years agoChicago White Sox relief pitcher Joe Kelly (head) exited Thursday's game against the Kansas Royals early due to lightheadedness. He will undergo further evaluation and is considered day-to-day. The 34-year-old allowed two runs on one hit and one walk across a 1/3 of an inning before leaving. Kelly owns a 5.84 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and 33 strikeouts over 24 2/3 innings in 2022. Jake Diekman and Reynaldo Lopez will see more setup opportunities with Kelly sidelined.
