Joe Ingles Sinks Seven Treys During 21-Point Performance
4 years agoUtah Jazz guard/forward Joe Ingles went 7-for-10 from behind the arc in Monday's win over Charlotte, finishing with 21 points, six assists, and five rebounds. The Jazz, especially the bench mob, was hot from downtown all night and ended up posting a new franchise record with 28 triples. Jordan Clarkson was 5-for-10 from deep during a 20-point effort and Georges Niang was in video game mode with a 7-for-7 performance from downtown, collecting 21 points. The backups ended up with 19 treys, which are the most by any team's bench in NBA history. Ingles struggled with coming off the bench early in the year, but he has now fully adjusted and cooks up some very good lines from time to time. He has four 20-point outings in his last seven appearances ahead of Wednesday's big clash with the Lakers.
