Joe Harris Won't Play In Season Opener
2 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard/forward Joe Harris (foot) won't play in the season-opener versus the Pelicans. The sharpshooter is moving in the right direction but is dealing with foot soreness resulting from his two ankle surgeries last season. Fortunately, head coach Steve Nash is "not concerned" while adding that Harris hasn't suffered any setbacks, so there's a chance he'll be back soon. With Seth Curry (ankle) out as well, Royce O'Neale may enter the starting lineup for a few games and provide some short-term relief for fantasy managers. Cam Thomas is also expected to receive more work, even more so if Edmond Sumner (hip) isn't available either.
