Joe Flacco Attempts Season-High 56 Passes
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco had a rough day against the Cleveland Browns as the Ravens fell to the Browns 12-9. Flacco, who had eight touchdown passes coming into the game, failed to lead the 11th highest scoring offense into the end zone despite reaching the red zone three times. The 33-year-old was very inaccurate, as he connected on just 29 of 56 attempts for 298 yards along with a bad interception near the goal line. A few drops, namely by wide receiver Michael Crabtree, did not help his cause. The Ravens are now 0-5 over the last three years when Flacco has thrown 50 or more passes in a game. The 11-year veteran is still a solid QB2 option, as he is going to toss the ball around a lot and record a lot of yards.
