Joe Brady Could Have Leg Up On Jaguars Head-Coaching Position
1 min agoESPN's Dan Graziano predicts that Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady will become the Jacksonville Jaguars' next head coach after Doug Pederson was fired following a 22-29 record in his three years on the job. Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson could be in the running as well, but the Jaguars' decision to move on from Pederson and retain general manager Trent Baalke has raised red flags for potential head-coach candidates that want to start with a clean slate like Johnson. Brady led the Bills offense to 29.5 points per game in 2024 and into a Super Bowl contender in his first full year on the job. Graziano mentions former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh as a sleeper in Jacksonville. Saleh spent three years as the team's linebackers coach on Gus Bradley's staff from 2014-16, so he has familiarity with the organization.
