Joe Barlow Notches Second Save On Tuesday
3 years agoTexas Rangers pitcher Joe Barlow struck out one over a scoreless inning to earn the save during Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. In the ninth frame, he entered Tuesday's contest to protect a 6-4 lead. The 26-year-old retired all three batters he faced to notch his second save of the year. He's now a perfect 2-for-2 in save chances in his last two appearances. The right-hander owns a 2.57 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts over seven innings in 2022. Barlow is the Rangers' primary closer, and fantasy managers searching for saves should add the hard-throwing righty in all league formats.
