3 years agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Joe Barlow notched his fifth save of the season in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Royals. Barlow came into the game to pitch the ninth inning with a two-run lead and delivered a 1-2-3 inning with no strikeouts to seal the deal. The 26-year-old appears to have emerged as the team's closer this season after seeing save opportunities last season as well. He has converted all of his save opportunities with a stellar 1.74 ERA, 13 strikeouts, and two walks over 10 1/3 innings pitched. Rostered in just 58 percent of leagues, Barlow is still available and is worth a roster spot in roto leagues and deeper points leagues at least.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
