Joe Barlow Collects Fifth Save On Saturday
3 years agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Joe Barlow was able to notch his fifth save of the season during Saturday's game against the Oakland Athletics. The Rangers' bats came alive late, which gave Barlow a chance to shut the door in the ninth. He threw a scoreless inning and helped secure the 8-6 win. The 25-year-old is posting a 1.66 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 21/10 K/BB ratio in 23 appearances with the Rangers this season. It's a small sample size, but he has looked good for Texas. Fantasy managers in need of saves might want to look his way down the stretch. Although, the Rangers don't do a ton of winning these days, but they did on Saturday.
