9 months agoArizona Diamondbacks designated hitter Joc Pederson went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 7-5 spring win over the Chicago Cubs. He took Chicago Cubs pitcher Kyle Hendricks deep in the third inning for his first homer of the spring. Pederson tacked on an RBI single in the fourth inning for his third RBI in Friday's victory. The 31-year-old is hitting .308 for a .976 OPS in six games this spring. He signed a one-year, one-year, $9.5 million contract with the Diamondback this offseason and is expected to serve as the team's primary designated hitter versus righties in 2024. Pederson slashed .235/.348/.416 with 15 home runs and a 111 wRC+ across 425 plate appearances for the Giants in 2023. The former Giant has an NFBC ADP of 528 and is mainly a fantasy option in NL-Only and deep-league formats.
