Joc Pederson Hits Two More Dingers
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson continued his impressive season by hitting two home runs in Friday's loss versus the Miami Marlins. Pederson was the Cubs only offense on Friday evening and he went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs. Pederson has been hitting the ball very well for his new club and he is now batting .250 with 11 home runs and 29 RBI. Pederson has been leading off for the Cubs against righties, but manager David Ross has been sitting him against left-handed pitching. Even with Pederson sitting against most lefties, he is providing strong enough power numbers for managers and should be rostered in most formats. Pederson will look to stay hot in a tough matchup versus Pablo Lopez on Saturday.
