4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson, who is currently expecting his second child with his wife, was placed on the team's paternity list on Tuesday. Shortly after the move, manager Dave Roberts announced that he expected Pederson would rejoin the team on Saturday when the Dodgers open up a two-game series against the Houston Astros. Pederson's absence should open up more playing time for Matt Beaty, Chris Taylor and Kike Hernandez. It's been a bit of an underwhelming year so far for Pederson, who is slashing just .184/.286/.398, but hopefully he'll be able to finish strong.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
