Joc Pederson Could Begin Light Hitting Tuesday
4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Joc Pederson (wrist) is progressing well over the past few days and could begin doing some light hitting by as early as Tuesday, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com. Pederson was placed on the 10-day injured list with tendinitis in his left wrist on Thursday, after starting the year with a .137/.262/.235 triple-slash line over 16 games. It sounds like Pederson could be back in the lineup sooner than later, and if his wrist is all healed up that could potentially translate into a better performance at the plate going forward.
