5 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Joakim Soria earned a win in relief at the Giants on Friday after pitching a scoreless bottom of the ninth. Soria had been lights out to start the season and Friday was actually one of his worse appearances as he allowed a hit and a walk while failing to record a strikeout for the first time since Opening Day. He has not allowed a run yet this season and sports a sparkling 35 percent strikeout rate. Soria needs to be owned in any league that rewards holds and is a good speculative source for saves as well. Soria has two saves on the season and has past experience closing so he should be considered next-in-line for saves should something happen to Liam Hendriks.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
