Joakim Soria Activated From The Injured List
3 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays activated relief pitcher Joakim Soria (finger) from the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. Soria has made just one appearance for the Blue Jays since being acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks at the trade deadline. Overall, the veteran has pitched to a 4.15 ERA, a 3.29 FIP, 32 strikeouts, and eight walks in 30.1 innings this season. He rejoins a Toronto bullpen that also includes Brad Hand, Tim Mayza, Adam Cimber, and closer Jordan Romano. Soria should have some fantasy value in leagues where holds are part of the scoring. However, given the number of options in Toronto's bullpen, he's unlikely to pitch in many save situations.
