Jimmy Smith May Not Be Ready For Opening Day 2018
7 years agoBaltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith (Achilles) may not be ready for the early part of the 2018 season. He tore his Achilles in early December, and it is typically a six- to eight-week recovery. Head coach John Harbaugh did say that he was hopeful. Baltimore has a decent chance to remain a top defense as long as they are not weakened in the offseason, although they will be using a new defensive coordinator after Dean Pees retired.
