Jimmy Nelson Resumes Playing Catch
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Jimmy Nelson (lower body) resumed playing catch on Monday after the team had shut him down just four days ago. Manager Dave Roberts said that the best-case scenario for Nelson is to break camp out of the bullpen and then build up his arm as the season progresses. The 30-year-old is the definition of injury-prone, as he has only thrown 22 innings across the past two seasons. Nelson will have value in leagues that track holds as a scoring category if he can get himself healthy to start the season.
