1 year agoChicago White Sox right-hander Jimmy Lambert will get the ball on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians on the road as the team's opener. The White Sox will use the 28-year-old in Mike Clevinger's (wrist) rotation spot to open the week. Lambert has appeared in 19 games for the White Sox so far this year, and all of those outings have been in relief, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to go deep into this game at all. In 17 1/3 innings pitched, he has a 6.23 ERA (6.58 FIP), 1.79 WHIP, 11 walks and 22 strikeouts. Lambert shouldn't be considered at all as a fantasy streamer on Monday as the team's opener.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
