Jimmy Graham Shows Off Red Zone Ability in Practice
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers tight end Jimmy Graham has moved past a knee injury scare that kept him out of some practices and has started to show his ability dominate in the red zone. Graham made an impressive one-handed grab on a fade pass for touchdown in the team period on Monday. Despite his own objections, Graham has slowed down a bit from his days in New Orleans, but is still able to be a weapon in the red zone thanks to his large 6-7 frame. He developed and displayed that ability towards the end of his tenure in Seattle, grabbing 10 touchdowns from that area in 2017. Green Bay has never been haven for tight ends under head coach Mike McCarthy, but with the departure of wide receiver Jordy Nelson there will be a lot of red zone targets up for grabs and Jimmy Graham is sure to draw more than a few. It is unlikely that he will receive enough targets to be a top-flight fantasy tight end, but his usage in the red zone will make him a useful piece.
