6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will not play in the team’s final preseason game on Thursday, according to NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero. Garoppolo had mixed results in his preseason performances, completing 59 percent of his passes while tossing one touchdown and one interception. However, his upside in Kyle Shanahan’s offense should offset any concerns fantasy owners may have. The San Francisco signal-caller is currently being selected in the ninth round, as the 10th quarterback off the board.--Mike Dente
