Jimmy Garoppolo Looking For A Win Against Former Team
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo returned to the starting lineup last week against the Green Bay Packers after missing the previous game with a concussion. Garoppolo had a decent game as the Raiders defeated the Packers 17-13. The Raiders quarterback passed for 208 yards and a touchdown while completing 70.9% of his passes. Despite his success, Garoppolo threw another interception. The 31-year-old now has a league-leading seven interceptions. This week, the Raiders take on the New England Patriots, the team that selected Garoppolo in the second round of the 2014 draft. The Patriots are not the defense they once were, allowing at least 34 points each of their last two games and 24 points in four out of five weeks. With Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers off the injury report, Garoppolo should have no problem feeding his top receivers. Fantasy managers likely have better options available at quarterback, but Garoppolo could perform well against a Patriots team with an injured defense.
