Jimmy Garoppolo Has No Restrictions In Training Camp
1 year agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) recently passed his physical, and head coach Josh McDaniels said the veteran QB will have no medical restrictions during training camp. Garoppolo suffered a pedal foot fracture in early December of last year, but he appears to be back to full health just in time for training camp and the 2023 campaign. The team will handle him as they would any player coming in off surgery/injury, but it's a positive sign that he'll be able to be close to a full-go. While Garoppolo's fantasy upside is limited by mediocre mobility, he's a fine QB2 option in superflex and two-QB formats as an accurate passer with a high completion percentage. Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Hunter Renfrow, Austin Hooper, and Michael Mayer are some of his top pass-catching options.
