Jimmy Crute (12-4-1) is set to take on Rodolfo Bellato on the main card of UFC 312 on Saturday. Crute is set to return to the UFC after he stepped away from the sport after his loss to Alonzo Menifield in July of 2023. Crute is 0-3-1 in his last four and enters this fight as the underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,770. In the UFC, Crute is 4-4-1 with all four wins coming by stoppage, while he's been finished all four times. If Crute can pull off the upset, he could get a ranked opponent next.

In a back-and-forth contest for Jimmy Crute, the finish was affected by a cage-grab in the third round that ended up costing Alonzo Menifield a point on Saturday. In 15 minutes of action, Crute ended up being out-struck by landing 31 significant strikes compared to that of Menifield's 56. Crute's points came in the takedown department, where he landed six of his 12 tries on the night. With the bout ending in a majority draw, Crute would have been on the losing end of a split decision if Menifield hadn't been deducted a point.

It was a tough night at the office for Jimmy Crute on Saturday when he suffered his second knockout/TKO loss in a row, this time in less than one minute at the hands of Jamahal Hill. In 48 seconds of action, Crute only landed six significant strikes. After winning four of his five contests by finish, Crute has hit a bit of a bump in the road with two KO/TKO losses, albeit to two dangerous finishing-style fighters. Still keep an eye on Crute in the future. Fantasy managers will probably get him at a discount price when he competes in a potential bounce-back bout.
