Jimmy Butler Remains Quietly Effective On Thursday
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard/forward Jimmy Butler failed to make noise in Game 3 against Brooklyn again, but he had a quietly effective game, finishing with a plus-18 rating in 38 minutes on the court. He had 16 points on 6-for-13 shooting and handed out seven assists while snapping up two steals on the defensive end. Butler exploded for 36 points in Game 1 but he's since then managed to make only nine field goals. It's been a huge drop-off for him personally, but it's benefited the team as the Sixers have bounced back from a Game 1 loss with back-to-back wins. They'll go for a third one on Saturday.
