2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers activated defensive back Jimmie Ward to their active roster ahead of a Week 5 matchup with the Carolina Panthers. The 31-year-old sustained a hamstring injury in August and was placed on Injured Reserve, forcing him to miss the first four games of the season. Ward has finished top-three on the 49ers in tackles in each of the past three seasons and led the team in interceptions with two in 2021. He figures to be a great addition to what has already been a stout defense to begin the 2022 campaign.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
