Jimmie Johnson Looking To Turn Luck Around At New Hampshire
4 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Jimmie Johnson will roll off from the 20th starting position in Sunday's Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The last month has been abysmal for Johnson and the No. 48 team. Johnson missed Indy after testing positive for COVID-19 and has had issues in every race since he's returned. Johnson has also failed to score a top-10 finish since Martinsville in early June. Johnson does have some success at NHMS, winning three races, and collecting 22 top-10 finishes in 34 career starts, but it has been a long time since Johnson has done anything significant at the one-mile track. Until Johnson turns his performance around, it may be the safe play to hold him out of DFS lineups. His cost is still relatively high, despite having some position differential upside. There are other drivers in the same price range and situation that will provide better value than Johnson for this race.
