3 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Yusei Kikuchi and the Seattle Mariners. Yandy Diaz is getting the start at first base while Joey Wendle is covering third. Choi started the team's most recent game against a lefty, facing Martin Perez last Friday. However, he should continue to see regular days off when a southpaw is on the mound. He's slashing .235/.304/.333 against lefties this year while he has a far superior .259/.386/.491 slash line against righties. He should be back in the lineup for Wednesday's game with righty Logan Gilbert on the mound for the Mariners.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
