3 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against Gerrit Cole and the New York Yankees. Choi has been dealing with some right knee soreness lately. He didn't start on Wednesday either, but he did enter the game off the bench and he went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Yandy Diaz is playing first base and batting third on Thursday. Choi has been great in his limited action this year. Over 15 games, he's slashing .304/.448/.522 with two home runs, four doubles, 11 RBI and eight runs. There's a good chance he'll be back in the starting lineup at some point in the next few days.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
