Jhoulys Chacin Takes Final Loss Of Milwaukee's Season
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin finally got beat in the 2018 National League stretch run. He had taken the ball in Game 163 with the division on the line and dominated. Chacin took the ball in the NLDS and held down a strong Rockies offense. He had taken the ball in NLCS Game 3 and dominated to help the Brewers earn a 2-1 lead in the series. On Saturday, Chacin was taken out after two innings but not before Cody Bellinger hit a two-run HR after giving up only 1 run in those three previous outings. Chacin had an ERA of 3.50 with a 15-8 in the regular season, 2.28 ERA since August 8th.
