Jett Williams Collects 100th Walk
1 year agoNew York Mets shortstop prospect Jett Williams collected his 100th walk and 13th home run of the season in a 2-for-4 showing with High-A Brooklyn. The 19-year-old joins Termarr Johnson as the only teenagers with 100 walks in a minor-league season since 2005. He's shown out since being promoted to High-A in August, slashing .306/.452/.581 with seven home runs, 18 RBI, 25 runs, and 11 stolen bases through 35 games. The 2022 first-round pick is years away from seeing The Show, but he's developed into one of the more impressive prospects in the dynasty format.
