33 mins agoThe New York Jets are viewed as the top candidate to sign free-agent quarterback Justin Fields, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic. No deal has been reached yet, but league sources believe he will ultimately land with New York. Fields spent last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and threw for 1,106 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in 10 game appearances. Fields started the team's first six games before being benched for veteran signal-caller Russell Wilson. However, the former first-round pick out of Ohio State could get another starting opportunity based on his resume in his first four NFL campaigns. Overall, Fields has racked up 7,780 passing yards, 45 passing touchdowns, 31 interceptions, 2,509 rushing yards, and 19 rushing touchdowns in 50 career games. He is one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the NFL, but he would likely not be an ideal quarterback for Garrett Wilson's fantasy football production.
