Jets Re-Sign Connor McGovern
2 years agoThe New York Jets re-signed center Connor McGovern to an undisclosed deal on Monday. McGovern started all 17 games for the Jets last year and was the only player on the team to take every snap on offense (1,114) and one of only six Jets to play 1,000-plus scrimmage snaps. He played three seasons with the Denver Broncos before joining Gang Green in 2020. The former fifth-round draft pick played right guard as a rookie in Denver before switching full time to center in 2019. McGovern has played 3,055 offensive snaps in his three seasons in New York, the most on the team in that span and 32nd most in the NFL in the last three years. The 29-year-old is expected to be snapping the football to quarterback Aaron Rodgers in 2023.
