Jesus Sanchez Exits Early With Back Tightness
2 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jesus Sanchez (back) exited Tuesday's game against the Washington Nationals due to upper back tightness. The 24-year-old was pinch-hit for in the bottom of the second inning after experiencing tightness in his upper back. He played the field for the first two frames and was replaced by Bryan De La Cruz. The severity of Sanchez's injury is unknown now, and he's considered day-to-day. De La Cruz would see an uptick in at-bats if Sanchez were to miss any games. The 25-year-old went 1-for-5 with a run scored during Tuesday's contest.
