Jesus Sanchez Dealing With Neck Tightness
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jesus Sanchez (neck) left the team's game early on Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Rays due to neck tightness, according to the club. It was initially speculated that Sanchez injured his leg after having to be helped off the field. Until we know more about the 25-year-old's neck injury, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. The Fish have a day off on Friday, so hopefully he'll be back in action on Friday for the series opener against the visiting Detroit Tigers. Sanchez went 0-for-1 in his lone at-bat on Wednesday before being replaced by Garrett Hampson in right field. He entered Wednesday's contest hitting .259/.323/.476 with 10 home runs, 16 doubles, 35 RBI, three stolen bases and 26 runs scored in 71 games in 2023.
