Jesus Made Transitioning Well To The States
1 day agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop prospect Jesus Made, who is already ranked at No. 56 overall in baseball at MLB Pipeline despite being only 17 years old, said he's feeling comfortable in the United States as he embarks on his first professional minor-league season in 2025. The switch-hitting Dominican infielder played in 51 games in the Dominican summer league in 2024 and slashed .331/.458/.554 with a 1.013 OPS, six homers, 28 RBI, 28 stolen bases and 63 runs scored in 216 plate appearances. Made has the ceiling to be the top overall MLB prospect just a few years from now, mainly thanks to his elite athleticism and batted-ball metrics. He's expected to open the 2025 season at Single-A Carolina, but he could move quickly through the minor-league pipeline if he continues to develop. Made is still very young and has plenty of maturing to do, but we could see him in the majors in a few more years.
