Jesus Luzardo Set To Start Game 1
1 year agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo is set to start Game 1 of the wild-card series against the Philadelphia Phillies. With ace Sandy Alcantara shut down for the season, this is the most logical choice for the fish. He finished the regular season with a 3.63 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 208:55 K:BB ratio in 178 ⅔ IP. While he's had a few clunkers recently, he has also been spectacular in a few starts. It could go either way on Tuesday, but the Marlins don't have a better option.
