Jesus Luzardo Impresses Against Former Club
44 seconds agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo was excellent on Sunday, tossing seven innings of two-run ball against the Miami Marlins in a 7-5 loss. Luzardo allowed two runs (one earned) on eight hits and had an impressive 7:0 K:BB ratio in this one. The 27-year-old lefty has been very good for the Phillies so far this season, allowing three runs or less and going five-plus innings in each of his five starts. He now holds a 2.08 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with 36 strikeouts over 30 ⅓ IP. He is a must-start pitcher in all fantasy formats at this point.
