2 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman Jesus Aguilar went 2-for-4 with his fifth home run of the season, two RBI, a run scored and a strikeout in the team's 5-4 win over the visiting Cincinnati Reds on Sunday. While there isn't much fantasy upside from a counting-stats perspective with A's hitters, Aguilar has been solid in the early going in his first year in Oakland. The 32-year-old veteran Venezuelan slugger is batting .270 (20-for-74) with two doubles, five home runs, nine RBI and seven runs scored in 82 plate appearances and 23 games, although he also has 21 strikeouts and only five walks.
