5 years agoTexas Rangers relief pitcher Jesse Chavez will serve as the opener in front of Adrian Sampson on Wednesday against the Mariners. Chavez has been a lot better in the month of May than in April, but he still carries no fantasy significance in the opener role. Sampson is 1-3 with a 4.79 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and just 24 strikeouts in 41 1/3 innings in his 10 appearances (five starts), so he should also be avoided for those looking to stream someone on Wednesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
