Jesper Bratt Takes Point Streak To Six Games
2 years agoNew Jersey Devils right wing Jesper Bratt stretched his point streak to six games on Monday, scoring his first goal of the season in a 6-3 loss to Washington. The Swedish winger is only the fourth player in franchise history to open a season with a point streak of six-plus games. Tim Higgins boasts the record with a 10-game run from 1984-85. Bratt's streak includes three games with multiple assists and he is tied for the league lead with eight helpers in total. The first goal was always going to come soon as well, with Bratt averaging close to three shots on goal. He posted 26 goals and 47 assists in 76 games last season, and we should see similar numbers from him in 2022-23.
