Jerry Jeudy Will Not Go On Short-Term Injured Reserve
1 year agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (hamstring) is unlikely to go on short-term Injured Reserve to begin the season, according to general manager George Paton. This is definitely a step in the right direction for Jeudy, who suffered a hamstring injury last week in camp. His status for Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders is still in doubt, however. This really just means that the Broncos expect to get him back sometime within the first four weeks of the regular season, barring any setbacks. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on the fourth-year wide receiver's status leading up to Week 1, regardless. If Jeudy is unable to suit up in Week 1, expect Courtland Sutton to get the lion's share of targets from quarterback Russell Wilson, with rookie Marvin Mims Jr. factoring into the mix as well.
