4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon has gained some hype through his training camp performance so far. Matt Barrows of The Athletic remarked on McKinnon's speed, saying that, "None of the team's linebackers can keep up." McKinnon also received praise from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who said he "brings a little bit of everything" and "sees the field very similar to a quarterback." McKinnon missed all of last season due to a torn ACL and this year, he'll be competing for playing time with Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman. McKinnon is likely third in the pecking order behind those two right now, but if he can break some big plays early in the year, he'll certainly find himself with a heavier workload.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
