New York Knicks center Jericho Sims played only a couple of minutes on Wednesday against Washington because of an ankle injury. The 25-year-old exited the action without registering any stats. With Mitchell Robinson (ankle) sidelined, Sims has an opportunity to carve out a role in the rotation for the beginning of the season. But he will need to stay on the court to make an impression, and unfortunately, that wasn't the case on Wednesday. New York is now off until Sunday, giving Sims some rest time, but it might not be enough, depending on the severity of the injury.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Milwaukee Bucks center Jericho Sims (thumb) will be out for the remainder of the regular season. The team announced that Sims underwent surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb and is expected to miss approximately four weeks. The Bucks will wrap up their regular-season schedule on April 13, making it unlikely Sims will return to action before the postseason. In its press release, the team noted that Sims would "likely return for the playoffs." Since moving to Milwaukee in a trade deadline deal with the New York Knicks, Sims has done a decent job as a backup big for the Bucks, averaging 2.4 points and 4.9 rebounds in 15.0 minutes per game. However, fantasy managers likely won't miss him much.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired center Jericho Sims from the New York Knicks in exchange for guard Delon Wright and cash. Sims will add some center depth to the Bucks roster behind Brook Lopez. The 26-year-old had a limited role in New York, averaging 1.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 10.8 minutes this season. The move to Milwaukee is unlikely to impact Sims' fantasy stock. Wright clearly wasn't part of the team's plans moving forward, featuring in just four games for the Bucks in 2025.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New York Knicks center Jericho Sims (back) is questionable for Wednesday's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers. Sims was recently removed from the Knicks rotation with back spasms and it remains to be seen whether or not he will be ready to go against the Philadelphia. Sims is in his fourth season with the Knicks and is averaging 1.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 63.2% from the field in 32 games. Sims also started three games this season as Karl-Anthony Towns was injured. Ariel Hukporti will likely play more if Sims and Towns are absent for Wednesday's game.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

New York Knicks center Jericho Sims (back) will not play on Monday against Detroit. He was a late addition to the injury report and has been ruled out due to back spasms. Sims is way down in the pecking order at center, so his absence will not impact the Knicks, especially with Karl-Anthony Towns healthy and good to go. Towns has been out only three times this season, limiting Sims' role on the team. He has averaged 1.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11.6 minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
