Jeremy Swayman Shuts The Door On Tuesday
17 seconds agoBoston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman stopped all 35 shots he faced en route to defeating the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday evening. The shot total was even, but Swayman was able to lead the way. After tallying just seven shots in the opening frame, the Wild went on to log 14 shots in each of the final two periods. Defenseman Charlie McAvoy would be credited with the game-winner, which he scored in the second period. This extended Swayman's winning streak to two games. However, over his previous six games, he has only allowed one goal or less in just two of them. He allowed five or more goals in two of these games as well. Fantasy managers should expect Joonas Korpisalo to get the starting on Wednesday in the second half of a back-to-back against the Rangers, which sets up Swayman for a start Saturday evening against the Golden Knights.
