Jeremy Ruckert Ready For Bigger Role
1 year agoNew York Jets tight ends Tyler Conklin and C.J. Uzomah weren't on the field for all of mandatory minicamp, which allowed Jeremy Ruckert to get some valuable repetitions with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The 2022 third-round pick looks ready for a bigger role in his second NFL season, The Athletic's Zack Rosenblatt writes. The 22-year-old spent most of his rookie campaign in 2022 on the bench, as he finished with just one catch on two targets for eight yards in nine games played. While Ruckert will continue to factor in on special teams, he should have a bigger role on offense in his second year in the NFL, but it won't be enough to put him on the fantasy map as long as both Conklin and Uzomah are healthy.
