Jeremy Pena Sitting Out Again On Saturday
1 year agoHouston Astros shortstop Jeremy Pena (neck) is not in the lineup on Saturday against the Texas Rangers. Pena sat out Friday's contest as well due to neck stiffness so apparently the issue is still bothering him. Mauricio Dubon is starting at shortstop in his place and batting sixth against Rangers starter Nathan Eovaldi. Pena should be considered day-to-day for now. The 25-year-old is slashing .250/.305/.402 with nine home runs, 30 RBI, and eight stolen bases over 296 at-bats on the year.
